Guess what!?!?!?! I made another felt activity! I know you’re all shocked! hahaha I was on a roll and couldn’t stop 🙂 This one is a snapping activity. Kiddos can snap the bees onto the beehive! Come on, how cute is that?
I cut out a simple beehive and “door” and glued them onto a blue piece of background felt. Then, I cut  a few bees out of yellow felt. And just because, I did a little stitching in brown embroidery thread to give my beehive a little detail. You can totally skip that step and just glue down this pieces.
So now for the snaps. Disclaimer: I had never done this before! But it actually ended up being pretty easy. I found this “easy attacher” kit at JoAnn’s and it made attaching the snaps really simple and i didn’t have to sew. I just followed the directions on the back of the package to attached the snaps. I attached one side of the snaps to the beehive and blue background felt and the other side of the snaps to a piece of yellow felt
Next jazzed up my bees with a little fabric paint:)
After the bees dried, I cut out pieces of the yellow felt around the snaps and used fabric glue to secure those pieces to the back of my bees.
Let the fabric glue dry all the way and then you are done my friends! Snap away!
I really love the way this came out 🙂
