Play Doh is BIG in our house right now. Hayes LOVES him some Play Doh! And I’m not gonna lie I still like to play with it too. I found these super amazing play doh spare parts by Creativity Street at a local toy store and knew they had to come home. (You can find them on Amazon HERE)
It’s basically like Mr. Potato Head but for play doh. You can build all sorts of people, creatures or animals using the playdoh and then add eyes, mouths, hands, hats, feet, etc. You could use Mr. Potato head pieces and make this activity on your own too. I thought it would be fun to create a little activity to go with the spare parts and then it could go in H’s Easter basket. 🙂
So using my awesome play doh skills I created some fun creatures and turned them into some printables.
Print out the play doh printables, cut and laminate. 🙂 I put all the play doh parts into a clear plastic box the hubs had for nails and screws. Some of the larger parts, the playdoh and the cards all went into a basket.
So now H can free play and design whatever he wants or for a little extra challenge he can pick a card and try and replicate the creature on it 🙂
